Bradley J. Halberstadt Shareholder, President, and Attorney
Mr. Halberstadt joined the firm to complement its existing bankruptcy practice and other consumer creditor representation. He graduated from St. John’s University, is a CPA and completed law school at the University of Minnesota Law School. Combining his legal expertise and his business knowledge, he represents major banks and finance companies in consumer bankruptcy cases. He also developed a software program that maximizes recovery in over 15% of the consumer bankruptcy cases filed across the country. In 1994, he formed Bankruptcy Solutions, Inc. and licensed the software to some of the largest banks and finance companies in the country. Brad brings a wealth of bankruptcy and business experience to deliver creative legal solutions for his clients. He is admitted to the State Courts of New York and Minnesota, the Federal Courts of the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals, District of Minnesota, Eastern District of Wisconsin, Western District of Wisconsin, Northern District of Illinois, Eastern District of Michigan and Western District of Michigan. He is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute and the National Association of Retail Collection Attorneys and lecturer for various Continuing Legal Education programs.
Linda J. Jungers Attorney
Primary areas of practice include bankruptcy, collection, and replevin. She graduated from the College of St. Catherine in 1972, Phi Beta Kappa. In 1976, Ms. Jungers graduated from William Mitchell College of Law. She is admitted to practice before the Minnesota State and Federal Bars, Eastern and Western Districts of Wisconsin Federal Courts, the 8th Circuit Bankruptcy Appellate Panel and the 8th Circuit Court of Appeals. She is a frequent lecturer in bankruptcy and collection matters. Ms. Jungers joined the firm in 1989, and was honored by being selected as a SuperLawyer in bankruptcy law several times by her peers.
Kris A. Wittwer Shareholder and Attorney
Primary areas of practice include collection litigation; Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, Truth in Lending, and Fair Credit Reporting Act defense litigation and consultation; creditors rights in bankruptcy law; and workers compensation intervention on behalf of major health care providers. Mr. Wittwer is admitted to practice in both the Federal and State Courts in Minnesota and Wisconsin and the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals. He is a member of the National Association of Retail Collection Attorneys and the American Collectors Association Attorneys Program. He received his Bachelor of Business degree from the University of Wisconsin Madison and his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Toledo. Mr. Wittwer has been in private practice since 1985 and with Stewart, Zlimen and Jungers, Ltd. since 1991. Mr. Wittwer has regularly been selected as a SuperLawyer by Minnesota Law and Politics Magazine. Mr. Wittwer has successfully litigated several precedent setting appellate court cases, including: Koller v. Pierce County Department of Human Services, 522 N.W.2d 240 (Wis. App. 1994); Rodgers v. General Electric Capital Group, 596 N.W.2d 671 (Minn. App. 1999); and Gonzalez v. Midwest Staffing Group, Inc., 598 N.W.2d 657 (Minn. 1999).
Allan J. Zlimen Shareholder, Officer, and Attorney
Primary areas of practice include Fair Debt Collection Practices Act defense litigation and compliance, collection and financial institution regulatory matters. Mr. Zlimen is a frequent lecturer on FDCPA and collection law. Mr. Zlimen graduated from the University of Minnesota in 1963. A 1971 graduate from William Mitchell College of Law, he is admitted to the Minnesota State and Minnesota Federal Bars. Mr. Zlimen has been with the firm since 1971. Mr. Zlimen has been chosen as a SuperLawyer several times by his peers.

Hourly Rates
Hourly rates for attorneys range from $125.00 to $250.00 per hour. Legal assistant time is billed at $75.00 per hour. Costs are advanced and billed on a pass through basis and include court filing fees, service of process for personal or mail service, obtaining copies from court, etc. Hourly rate varies if expended in research, office or court proceedings.
Collection
Fees for collection matters are handled on a contingency fee or on an hourly rate, plus costs. Contingency fees and rates are based on the age and collectibility of the accounts, client volume and our estimate of the collection effort necessary for a successful collection effort. Flat fees are available for limited specific work.
Bankruptcy
Fees for bankruptcy matters are handled on a flat fee or hourly rate, plus costs.
Workers Compensation
Fees for workers compensation intervention on behalf of health care providers and health or accident insurers are tailored to fit your needs and may be handled on a contingency, hourly or flat fee basis.
Hospital Liens
The flat fee for preparing, serving and filing a Hospital Lien Statement is $50.00, plus cost of filing and service.
Replevins
Fees for replevin actions are handled on an hourly or flat fee basis, plus costs of filing, service and bond.
